To Whom it May Concern:
Professio was subcontractor for us on the Texas Governor's Mansion project in 2008-2009. This project is located at 1010 Colorado, Austin, Texas 78701. Professio completed the following work for us: Molded, reconstructed, and installed a curved ornamental plaster cornice, repaired cracks and joints of existing cornices, on the existing flat plaster, cut out, moved plaster for mechanical work behind wall, replaced and repaired back after mechanical work was completed. Skimmed existing walls to recreate the historic finishes throughout the building, removed plaster to do investigative work to determine mix design to conclude the type of plaster needed to go back as repair.
After the fire forced the project to close Professio consulted on what plaster, and ornamental plaster could be saved, and what needed to be repaired and replaced. They removed the plaster that was intact to save the decorative ornamental chandelier surrounds in order to create a design to maintain the historical consistency. Matthew S. Henson and his staff at Professio were outstanding and they made a significant impact on this project. Historical plaster restoration is a highly specialized field and Professio employee's highly skilled professionals, with many years of experience, ensure that the historical integrity of the building is protected and remains a priority.
Although highly specialized, Professio also remains very competitive, in regards to pricing of their work, within the industry. We paid Professio $198,000 for their work on the Texas Governor's Mansion Project. We would certainly highly recommend Professio by Matt Henson, Inc. for any projects where historical plaster is in the scope of work being done.

To Whom it May Concern:
I have been associated with Matt Henson for more than nine years. Having him
work on various projects through that time, both with my present company and the
company I was previously employed by. Professio is currently under contract with
us to do the remediation/restoration plaster interior and exterior on the Cass
County Courthouse, in Linden, Texas. The value of their contract on this project
is $130,000. We are currently about 6% complete with their scope, awaiting
further clarifications from the Texas Historical Commission, the state funding
agency. We recently finished a small plaster patching job around some exterior
door jambs, at the Hamilton County Courthouse, in Hamilton, Texas. The total
value of that was less than $5000.
Previously, I was associated with Matt Henson on the Lampasas county Courthouse, in Lampasas, Texas, complete plaster restoration. The value of this project was approximately $250,000 and was completed in 2003. I also had Matt Henson on the Parker County Courthouse, in Weatherford, Texas, which was a complete interior plaster restoration. This project was completed in 2003 at approximately $200,000. If you have any future questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
William B. Wilson, Senior Project Manager
